CLA, CLB, and CLD series collimators are high-performance fiber optic devices employing high quality aspheric lenses to achieve low wave-front distortion, low divergence, and diffraction limited beam quality. These collimators are not only ideal for targeting at long distances but also good for pair coupling at distances approaching 1 m. CLC series collimators are spherical lens-based low-cost devices suitable for multimode applications. Beam size will reach 6 mm for fibers with 0.20 NA.
CLE and CLF series extra-large beam collimators are based on achromatic doublet lenses for the unusually large sizes. They feature 8 and 16 mm beam sizes for single mode fiber and are suitable for short-distance free-space optics communication. CLF series collimators also feature a tuning mechanism that allows users to make fine adjustment on fiber Z position to achieve optimum performance. The total adjustment range is +/- 0.5 mm.
Use these collimators with our standard laser-diode light source, pigtailed diode lasers, or receptacle laser diode modules.
